Babel

今天去看了。小马同学本来找我去看Borat，我说要看这个，结果当然是我赢了，幸好小马同学也很满意。Alejandro González Iñárritu导的片子（21 Gram, 11'09''01），Gustavo Santaolalla的吉他(Diarios de motocicleta)。这些去看的时候还不知道，不过那吉他声一起，就知道是谁的了。真是好，摩托日记的原声已经下了，看来这个也要。

Babel指的应该是巴比伦塔。它的象征意义是明显的。不少语言学的书的封面就是Pieter Brueghel the Elder的巴比伦塔。那时侯人类只说一种语言，人类觉得自己没有什么是不能实现的。于是不同地方的人们联合起来，大家一心要建造通往天堂的高塔。上帝觉得人类太自大，便让不同的人们说不同的语言，这样他们就无法很好的沟通，无法明白对方。于是人们不再对话，计划最终停止，巴比伦塔随后倒下。这些，Trailer里面说了：

IF YOU WANT TO BE UNDERSTOOD, LiSTEN.

这电影是明星阵容，Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett，大帅哥Gael García Bernal，Kôji Yakusho等。2500万美元能让集中那么多大牌，Alejandro的号召力。但显然他们都不是主角，在电影里的戏份一点都不多。要说主角，只有里面的摩洛哥人和墨西哥人，日本mm Rinko Kikuchi也算一个。这片比美版无间道好多了，今年看到的最好的片子，有时间还会再看一遍的。

转一个看到的评论，那人虽然给的是B（其他人都是A），但原因却挺有趣。

"Babel" is easily the most powerful and honest film I have seen this year, yet I cannot bring myself to recommend it. I like a good cry in a dark movie theater as much as the next person, but while watching this, I got the distinct impression I might never be capable of smiling again. The film's four interconnected story lines were all beautifully written. The acting and cinematography were spectacular; but unless you plan on spending the rest of your evening contemplating the unyielding pain of human existence, you might want to see something a bit lighter.

Alejandro拍人的本事真是让人佩服。现在看电影跟以前不太一样，开始留意更多细节，看别人怎么用光，什么色调，怎么构图等等。看到那种色调，就觉得十分的熟悉，心想这颜色怎么那么蔡丝(zeiss)，回来上IMDB查，果然是只zeiss头，Zeiss Master Prime Lenses。上色影无际多，对Leica倒不感冒，倒是中蔡丝毒了，迷上蔡丝镜头的那种浓郁色彩，特别是弱光下的表现。以后要是有机会上胶片再说，那时候再弄个蔡头。
